In a bleak future Detroit, the corporation Omni Consumer Products seeks to replace the rotting city with its own gleaming new metropolis, Delta City, at any cost. As the inhabitants of old Detroit fight back against their corporate overlords, RoboCop must choose between his duty and his loyalty, ultimately joining the resistance in a battle to save the city from destruction.
