The Assignment

Aidan Quinn plays both Annibal Ramirez and Carlos "The Jackal" Sanchez in this 1997 action thriller about a CIA plan to use an American naval officer to masquerade as a notorious Venezuelan terrorist. With Donald Sutherland and Ben Kingsley, the film explores a cat-and-mouse game between the impostor and his real-life counterpart, who is eventually brought down by Shaw's (Quinn) own tactics.
