Lady J

Lady J follows Madame de La Pommeraye (Cécile de France), a widow who plots revenge against her former lover, Marquis des Arcis (Édouard Baer), by introducing him to Mademoiselle de Joncquières, a woman he becomes infatuated with. With the help of Lucienne, Madame de La Pommeraye's friend (Laure Calamy), and her mother, Madame de Joncquières (Natalia Dontcheva), she orchestrates their meeting. As the Marquis tries to win Mademoiselle de Joncquières' hand in marriage, Madame de La Pommeraye's true intentions come into play.
