Verboten!

Verboten! is a 1959 American romantic war drama film written, produced, and directed by Samuel Fuller, starring James Best as Sgt. David Brent, who falls in love with a German woman, Helga Schiller / Brent (Susan Cummings). After Germany surrenders, David returns to the city and marries Helga, but their happiness is threatened when Bruno Eckhart (Tom Pittman), a former German soldier, joins a Nazi underground organization that infiltrates the government. As tensions rise, Franz Schiller (Harold Daye), Helga's brother-in-law, also becomes embroiled in the plot, leading to a thrilling confrontation between good and evil.
