Biography

Tom Pittman was a promising young actor in Hollywood's Golden Age, beginning his career with guest roles on TV shows like Science Fiction Theatre and appearances in notable Westerns such as Gunsmoke and Have Gun – Will Travel. He made his film debut in D-Day the Sixth of June (1956) and went on to star in several other films before his tragic death at 26. His early promise was cut short when he died in a car accident on October 31, 1958.
