The Proud Rebel

This 1958 Western drama follows a former Confederate soldier, John Chandler, as he navigates his life among hostile neighbors in the Midwest, struggling to make ends meet after being unfairly accused of starting a brawl and forced to work off a debt on a local rancher's farm. With the help of a kind-hearted woman named Linnett Moore, John finds himself entangled in her struggle against an overbearing landowner who seeks to acquire her property at any cost.
