Freedomfighters

The film "Libertarias" tells the story of Maria (Ariadna Gil), a young nun who is forced to flee her convent at the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. She joins an anarchist militia group led by Pilar (Ana Belén), and together they face the challenges of fighting for their cause against both nationalist and left-wing factions. As Maria becomes increasingly involved in the war effort, she begins to question her former life and eventually plays a key role in the final battle.
