Silk Road

In the darknet world of Silk Road, a philosophical twenty-something Ross Ulbricht creates a website that sells drugs, attracting the attention of federal agent Rick Bowden, who goes undercover to bring him down. As a cat-and-mouse game unfolds between these two opposing figures, their personal lives begin to fray, with disillusionment and paranoia threatening to destroy everything they've built. The film draws intriguing parallels between its oppositional main characters, but doesn't quite do enough to develop the story surrounding them, leaving some viewers feeling underwhelmed by the conclusion of this true story-based thriller.
