Warning from Space

A small ship travels to a rotating space station where a group of starfish-like aliens called Pairans discuss how to warn humans of an impending disaster. They decide on contacting Japanese scientist Dr. Komura and later try to contact humans through various means. One of the aliens, Hikari Aozora / Ginko, disguises herself as a popular singer to communicate with humans. Her mission is to warn mankind of an impending collision with a meteor that will wipe out humanity. As the planet rapidly accelerates toward Earth, Dr. Matsuda develops a nuclear device to destroy the approaching world, but it takes an act of bravery from Ginko to convince him of its importance and ultimately save Earth by firing a missile at the rogue planet, destroying it and saving the planet from total destruction.
