Best Defense

In "Best Defense" (1984), Dudley Moore stars as Wylie Cooper, an engineer developing a targeting system on a tank for the US Army in 1982, while Eddie Murphy plays Lt. T.M. Landry, who is sent to Kuwait in 1984 to demonstrate a new main battle tank equipped with Cooper's system. The film follows two parallel plots: Cooper's efforts to perfect his gyroscope design and Landry's struggles to control the tank as it wanders into combat zone during Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.
