Biography

Dudley Moore was a leading figure in British satire of the 1960s, best known for his work with Peter Cook in the comedy revue Beyond the Fringe and their BBC series Not Only... But Also. As a popular double act, Moore's buffoonery contrasted with Cook's deadpan monologues, earning them the 1966 British Academy Television Award for Best Entertainment Performance. He later achieved success as a film actor, starring in hits like Bedazzled and Arthur, before settling in Los Angeles to concentrate on his acting career.
