Some Kind of Beautiful follows Richard Haig (Pierce Brosnan), a charismatic Cambridge literature professor who reflects on his life's turning points as he speaks to his young son. As he navigates a complicated web of relationships and personal struggles, Richard finds himself torn between his love for his pregnant American girlfriend Kate and his long-held secret affection for her sister Olivia (Salma Hayek). With the help of Jake (Duncan Joiner), his son with Kate, and Olivia's own guidance, Richard embarks on a journey to discover what truly matters in life.
