Destination Tokyo

Destination Tokyo is a 1943 black and white American submarine war film directed by Delmer Daves, starring Cary Grant as Captain Cassidy, John Garfield as Wolf, and featuring Dane Clark, Robert Hutton, and Warner Anderson, among others. The film follows the crew of the USS Copperfin on a secret mission to gather vital weather intelligence in Tokyo Bay ahead of the planned bombing of the city during World War II, while facing the enemy and losing some of their lives.
