The Signal

The Signal is a 2007 American horror film told in three parts from different perspectives, where a mysterious transmission turns people into killers that invades every cell phone, radio, and television. Written and directed by independent filmmakers David Bruckner, Dan Bush, and Jacob Gentry, the film presents a nonlinear narrative with elements of splatter film, black comedy, and post-apocalyptic love story. The three interconnected chapters focus on Mya (Anessa Ramsey), Lewis (A.J. Bowen), Ben (Justin Welborn), Rod (Sahr Ngaujah), Anna (Cheri Christian), Jim (Chad McKnight), Jerry (Matthew Stanton), Clark (Scott Poythress), and Janice (Suehyla El-Attar) as they navigate a world where fear, paranoia, and violence spread rapidly.
