Hotel Chevalier

In a Paris hotel room, Jason Schwartzman (Jack Whitman) lies on a bed, watching black-and-white war film Stalag 17 and reading the newspaper. After ordering room service, he receives a call from his ex-girlfriend Natalie Portman (Rhett), who arrives unexpectedly. They have an awkward reunion as they confront their complicated relationship, with Jack trying to tidy up the room while Rhett browses through his possessions. As they talk, they share a tender moment on the balcony overlooking Paris, before returning to the hotel room for an uncomfortable and intimate encounter.
