Four friends - Brian Green (Chris Pine), Danny Green (Lou Taylor Pucci), Bobby (Piper Perabo), and Kate (Emily VanCamp) - set out on a perilous journey across the American West to reach Turtle Beach, their childhood vacation home, in search of safety from a deadly viral pandemic. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including another survivor, Frank Holloway (Christopher Meloni) and his infected daughter Jodie. As they face numerous challenges, their trust in each other is constantly tested, and their survival becomes increasingly uncertain.
