Paul Kersey, architect turned vigilante, is back in action as he seeks revenge against the gang that brutally murdered his daughter and raped his housekeeper in Los Angeles. The familiar trajectory of a hero driven by vengeance plays out with Charles Bronson delivering a satisfying performance as Kersey, albeit one marred by some uncomfortable exploitation elements.
