This film is a vibrant and surreal portrait of Alejandro Jodorowsky's young adulthood in 1940s-1950s Santiago, Chile, where he embarks on a journey to become a poet amidst the bohemian artistic circle of the time. With its blend of action, drama, fantasy, and biography, Endless Poetry is a deeply personal and autobiographical exploration of Jodorowsky's adolescence and youth, marked by encounters with fellow artists and poets, including Nicanor Parra, and a journey that ultimately leads him to Paris to preserve surrealism.
