Super Troopers

Five bored Vermont state troopers, led by Captain John O'Hagen (Brian Cox), patrol a 50-mile section of highway and compete for prominence with the local police department. Lieutenant Arcot "Thorny" Ramathorn (Jay Chandrasekhar) and Trooper Carl Foster (Paul Soter) discover a large shipment of marijuana marked with stickers depicting a monkey, which leads them to suspect that the dead woman they found at an abandoned Winnebago is connected to the marijuana. The troopers plan to reveal the bust at an upcoming visit by the governor, but their efforts are hindered by rival police Chief Bruce Grady (Daniel von Bargen) and his department's corruption. In the end, the troopers successfully bust the drug smugglers with the help of Officer Ursula Hanson (Marisa Coughlan), but not before facing various setbacks and shenanigans.
