Jay Chandrasekhar is an American actor, comedian, writer, and film director born in Chicago, Illinois, to physicians of Tamil origin from India. He graduated from Colgate University and formed the comedy troupe Broken Lizard with fellow alumni, which he led in several films including Super Troopers 2 and The Dukes of Hazzard. Chandrasekhar has also directed numerous episodes of TV shows like Community and The Goldbergs since 2001.
