Quasi

Quasi, a satirical comedy film directed by Kevin Heffernan and written by Heffernan and Broken Lizard members Steve Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske, takes a satirical take on Victor Hugo's 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. In medieval France, Quasi Modo, played by Steve Lemme as Jester/Quasi, a hunchback, works as a torturer alongside Duchamp (Kevin Heffernan), when he suddenly becomes popular after winning a papal drawing ticket. With the help of Queen Catherine and his new friends, Quasi must navigate a treacherous web of royal politics and assassinations to survive, ultimately discovering that he is of royal blood.
