Caught by a Wave (2021) is a coming-of-age romance film about two high school students, Sara (Elvira Camarrone) and Lorenzo (Christian Roberto), who fall in love at a summer camp on Sicily, only to be complicated when Sara's diagnosis with muscular dystrophy comes to light. As they navigate their relationship, the couple struggles to cope with the pain and keep their love sparkling.
