Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N.

Lt. Robin Crusoe is a U.S. Navy pilot who bails out of his plane after engine trouble and lands on a deserted island paradise where he builds a house and adjusts to life. He discovers an abandoned Japanese submarine and, with the help of a NASA chimpanzee astronaut named Floyd, constructs various amenities. However, when a local girl, Wednesday, whom he befriends, is banished by her father, Tanamashuhi, Crusoe must use his newfound skills to defend himself and ultimately escape the island.
