Andy Hardy Comes Home

Mickey Rooney reprises his role as Andy Hardy, now a corporate lawyer and married father, returns to his hometown of Carvel for a business trip and finds himself involved in local politics. Upon his arrival, he reconnects with his mother, aunt, sister, and nephew Jimmy, who initially agrees to sell him property but is later pressured by the town council to renege on their deal. With the help of his wife and children, Andy pleads his case at a town meeting and ultimately earns the respect of the townspeople, leading to a surprising job offer as judge.
