Tequila Sunrise

In a seaside California town, best friends Mac "Dale 'Mac' McKussic" (Mel Gibson) and Nick Frescia (Kurt Russell), a Detective Lieutenant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, are on opposite sides of the law. Mac is a former drug dealer trying to clean up his act, while Nick is duty-bound to bring him to justice if he should sell drugs again. Mac becomes attracted to restaurant owner Jo Ann Vallenari (Michelle Pfeiffer), and an affair between Nick and Jo Ann begins, putting their friendship to the test when Jo Ann realizes she has fallen for Mac as well.
