The Key

In wartime England, a tugboat captain is given a key to a flat by his friend, but the apartment comes with an apparently cursed history, bringing bad luck and tragedy to its previous occupants. The latest captain, David Ross, a former American tugboat captain turned Royal Navy officer, struggles with his conflicting fears and affection for the flat's occupant, Stella, a Swiss expatriate with a mysterious past.
