The Comeback Trail

In 1974, aging movie star Duke Montana (Tommy Lee Jones) is convinced by producers Max Barber (Robert De Niro) and Walter Creason (Zach Braff) to fake his own death in a Western film called "Paradise" as part of an insurance scam. However, things take a turn when they find that the movie actually becomes a commercial success, forcing them to navigate their complicated web of deceit with Duke's initial reluctance to play along turning into a reluctant star.
