The Avengers

Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Thor, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton to form a team capable of stopping Loki's plan to subjugate Earth after Loki steals the Tesseract and uses his scepter to enslave agents. The Avengers disagree on how to approach Loki, leading to an argument that escalates into action as they work together to protect New York City from Loki's Chitauri invasion.
