The Awakening

In post-World War 1 England, Florence Cathcart (Rebecca Hall), a writer and paranormal investigator, is invited to a boys' boarding school to examine reports of a ghost. When she receives a request from Robert Mallory (Dominic West), the school's master, to investigate the supernatural events, Florence initially refuses but eventually becomes entangled in the mystery. As she delves deeper into the case, Florence confronts unexplained occurrences and personal trauma that slowly lead her to uncover the truth behind the haunting.
