A Monkey in Winter

A Monkey in Winter is a 1962 French comedy-drama film directed by Henri Verneuil, set in a Normandy seaside town during World War II and years later. It tells the story of Albert Quentin (Jean Gabin), an old hotel keeper who dreams of dashing deeds in pre-war China, and Gabriel Fouquet (Jean-Paul Belmondo), a young advertising executive struggling with his own identity.
