In this 1986 neo-noir romantic thriller, New Orleans police lieutenant Remy McSwain investigates a local mobster's murder, leading him to suspect that fellow officers may be involved in corruption. A new DA assistant, Anne Osborne, arrives and zeroes in on the same corruption, leading to a romantic relationship between her and Remy. As they navigate their feelings for each other, they must also confront the dark forces of police corruption and gang violence in New Orleans.
