Miracle Apples

In rural Aomori Prefecture, Akinori Kimura (Sadao Abe) and his wife Mieko (Miho Kanno) face a daunting challenge when Mieko's allergies force them to abandon chemical pesticides in their apple orchard, an absolute impossibility at the time. Despite financial struggles and personal hardship, including Akinori's contemplating suicide, a miraculous breakthrough occurs with the discovery of a pesticide-free apple tree that thrives without harm from insects.
