I Met My Love Again

In Vermont, college student Ives Towner (Henry Fonda) refuses to marry his longtime girlfriend Julie Weir (Joan Bennett), until he has a career. Years later, Julie moves back home and finds Ives again, rekindling their romance with Brenda Lane's (Louise Platt) unexpected confession that eerily mirrors the words Ives once spoke to Julie. After a whirlwind reunion, Ives and Julie finally marry, but not before a dramatic confrontation with Brenda over their love.
