Come Tomorrow

Frosya Burlakova (Ekaterina Savinova), a talented young woman from a remote Siberian village, comes to Moscow to study at the Gnessin State Musical College and become a singer. She stays with sculptor Nikolai Vasilyevich (Anatoliy Papanov) and his girlfriend Natasha, where her provinciality amuses them. As Frosya tries to enter the institute, she catches the attention of respected professor Alexander Aleksandrovich Sokolov (Boris Bibikov), who discovers her outstanding singing talent and innate intelligence. The film follows Frosya's journey as she navigates her passion for music and struggles with finding her place in Moscow.
