The Conjuring

In 1971, renowned paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) come to the assistance of the Perron family, who are experiencing increasingly disturbing events in their newly occupied farmhouse in Rhode Island. The family discovers a boarded-up cellar in the house and paranormal events occur within the first few nights, including every clock stopping at 3:07 a.m. As the Warrens investigate further, they uncover evidence of a dark entity that has latched onto the family, which leads them to perform an exorcism to save the family from possession.
