In this surreal biographical musical comedy film, Roger Daltrey stars as Franz Liszt, the flamboyant 19th-century composer and pianist who was dubbed the "first classical pop star." Depicting Liszt's life through a blend of fact, fantasy, and anachronistic elements, the film satirizes his infidelities and showcases his virtuosic performances. Featuring a rock soundtrack by Rick Wakeman, the film also stars Sara Kestelman, Paul Nicholas, Ringo Starr, and Ken Russell reprises his collaboration with Daltrey on Tommy.
