Biography
Ringo Starr was born on July 7, 1940, and gained international fame as the drummer for The Beatles. He sang lead vocals on songs like "Yellow Submarine" and "With a Little Help from My Friends," and co-wrote several other hits, including "Don't Pass Me By" and "Octopus's Garden." After the band broke up in 1970, Starr achieved solo musical success and acted in numerous films, TV shows, and documentaries.
