Playing for Keeps

In this 1986 comedy film, a trio of ambitious inner-city high school graduates turn a rundown country hotel into a rock 'n' roll resort, facing opposition from fearful townsfolk, unscrupulous businessmen, and a corrupt politician who wants to turn the property into a toxic dump site. The teens refuse to give up on their lifelong goal without a fight - and a song. With the help of a little creativity and determination, they overcome obstacles and bring "The New Hotel Majestic...For Kids Only" to life, complete with MTV in every room and a rockin' good time for all.
