Harold Gould

Biography

Harold Gould was a character actor who appeared in over 300 television shows and 20 major motion pictures, with notable roles including Martin Morgenstern on Rhoda and Miles Webber on The Golden Girls. He received five Emmy Award nominations for his work and played elegant, well-dressed men, as well as Jewish characters and grandfather-type figures. Gould was born in Schenectady, New York, and enlisted in the US Army during World War II, before pursuing a career in acting that spanned nearly 50 years.
