A Stranger Among Us

In "A Stranger Among Us," Melanie Griffith stars as Detective Emily Eden, a tough New York City cop forced to go undercover to solve a puzzling murder in a Hasidic community. Her search for the truth takes her into a secret world of unwritten law and unspoken power, where the only way out is deeper in. Along the way, she finds herself drawn into a complex web of relationships and motives, including a romance with a young man from the community, that threatens to upend her own personal demons and moral code.
