The Mysteries of Pittsburgh

The Mysteries of Pittsburgh is a 2008 comedy-drama film written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, based on Michael Chabon's novel of the same name. The film follows Art Bechstein (Jon Foster), a well-mannered and intelligent young man who becomes caught up in a tangled love triangle with Jane Bellwether (Sienna Miller) and Cleveland Arning (Peter Sarsgaard). Art also develops feelings for Phlox Lombardi (Mena Suvari), a strange girl he meets at a book shop, which puts him in conflict with his father Joe Bechstein (Nick Nolte), a Jewish gangster.
