Torture Garden

Five people visit a fairground sideshow run by showman Dr. Diabolo, who promises them a genuinely scary experience if they will pay extra to see his secret exhibit. One by one, they view their fate through the shears of an effigy of the female deity Atropos, where they each discover their dark secrets and hidden vices. Jack Palance stars as Ronald Wyatt, a Poe collector who murders Lancelot Canning in a segment that showcases Peter Cushing's performance. The film features four short horror stories linked by Dr. Diabolo's framing story, with Burgess Meredith narrating the experience of each patron.
