In this unsettling Italian horror film, director Michele Soavi weaves a complex web of psychological terror as an American schoolteacher, Miriam Kreisl, becomes entangled in a sinister plot devised by a Luciferian cult. After nearly hitting an elderly man with her car, Miriam unwittingly invites him into her home, setting off a chain of eerie events that reveal the dark secrets beneath his benevolent facade. As Miriam's life spirals out of control, she must confront the horrific truth: she has been orchestrated by a Satanic cult to give birth to the Antichrist.
