Doris Day stars as Ethel S. "Dynamite" Jackson, a Broadway chorus girl mistakenly invited to represent America's theater in Paris, where she falls for befuddled bureaucrat Ray Bolger's character, S. Winthrop Putnam. As they navigate a series of misunderstandings and misadventures, the ship transporting them introduces them to a charming French waiter, Philippe Fouquet, played by Claude Dauphin. Amidst the romance, music, and comedy, true love ultimately reunites Jackson and Putnam in this 1952 musical romantic comedy.
