The Landlord

Beau Bridges plays Elgar Enders, a 29-year-old who buys a tenement in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and initially plans to evict its black tenants to convert it into a luxury flat. However, he grows fond of the residents and decides to remain their landlord, helping them fix the building and even forming romantic relationships with two of his tenants, Lanie and Fanny Johnson.
