Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello star as Harry "Slim" Pierce and Willie "Tubby" Piper, two men who are swindled out of $5,000 by a con artist, Joe Gorman, aka Sergei Toumanoff, played by Fred Clark. The duo becomes entangled in a series of misadventures while trying to catch up with Gorman as he poses as a foreign film director in Hollywood, leading to hilarious misunderstandings and slapstick comedy. Along the way, they team up with the Keystone Kops to foil Gorman's plans and inadvertently create a comedic film sensation.
