Gold

Rod Slater (Roger Moore), general manager of the Sonderditch gold mine, is instructed by his boss Steyner to break through an underground dike into a rich seam of gold. As he falls in love with Steyner's wife Terry (Susannah York), Slater becomes aware that the mine's owners are secretly plotting to flood the mine to boost gold prices, and he must navigate this danger while also saving the lives of the trapped miners.
