The Sun Shines Bright

In post-reconstruction United States, a judge in a Southern town must navigate his re-election campaign amidst a complex web of racial tensions and small-town politics. When a young African youth is accused of a crime, the judge intervenes to prevent a lynching, using his eloquence to defuse the situation.
