Biography

Ludwig Stössel was a successful Austrian actor who began performing on stage at 17 and later transitioned to film. His early career included notable roles in silent films such as "In der Heimat" and with the advent of sound, he appeared in Georg Wilhelm Pabst's "Skandal um Eva." In 1933, Stössel fled Germany due to Nazi power and continued his acting career abroad.
