In "Belle of the Nineties," Ruby Carter (Mae West) is a Vaudeville star who moves from St. Louis to New Orleans to escape Tiger Kid, a prizefighter she's romantically involved with. She gains fame at Ace Lamont's nightclub and faces drama with his ex Molly.
