Belle of the Nineties

In "Belle of the Nineties," Ruby Carter (Mae West) is a Vaudeville star who moves from St. Louis to New Orleans to escape Tiger Kid, a prizefighter she's romantically involved with. She gains fame at Ace Lamont's nightclub and faces drama with his ex Molly. As tensions rise, Ruby discovers that the fight has been rigged, leading to confrontations involving Ace, the Tiger Kid, and Ruby herself.
